the sound was done well and for a sprite movie it was well put together. i'm surprise that there was no clever plot to go along with that.

alright for a beginner
i'm not going to trash your effort, but i do think you have a long way to go. before you start your next movie, i'd suggest going by a bookstore and picking up a how-to guide on using flash (they probably cost about $40) and brush up on some different techniques. it looks like to animated the entire movie frame-by-frame, which is time-consuming, a memory eater, and has less-than-par outcome. look into spleening, animating each sprite by itself, and actionscript. also, when working on your next movie, try to incorporate an actual plot and write everything out before you start. the project will turn out a lot better than if you just make it up as you go along.

okay, so you recorded the sound clip from the show, didn't modify it in any way, and then tried to draw the animation to look EXACTLY like what the original show looked like, but wound up with a mediocre version of what we've already seen on the dvd. what the crap?
the only thing keeping this from being an copy is your lack of animating skill.
